Everything was five star right from the moment our friendly driver Umberto picked us up at our ship to meeting Rosana at Pompeii. Her archaeological background and eagerness to not only share the history but also the additional features that most visitors would not even notice was very impressive. Her warm nature and ability to adapt her tour to our dumb and not-so-dumb questions made us feel like we had seen a world heritage site with clear eyes. Afterwards, Umberto was at our disposal as he showed us the wonders of the Amalfi coast and just why it's infinitely more preferable to be a relaxed passenger and NOT a driver on the breathtakingly scenic but crazy roads. His lunch suggestion topped off a terrific day - far from the crowds at a family- run hidden treasure who grow their own produce, producing sublime and generous meals. We three loved the day and highly recommend it.!!!
